Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Listening Hands Therapy

Our therapeutic approach actually relies on the body’s innate ability to heal itself. With a quiet mind and listening hands, we feel how the body is expressing its disorder. Connecting to the body’s system for healing, we are able to initiate a physical reorganization and bring the nervous system into balance. We have successfully treated people with acute injuries including traumatic brain injuries, PTSD, chronic aches & pains, nervous system dysregulation, post-natal difficulties in infants, and so much more.
Yampa Healing offers manual therapy sessions in our office in Oak Creek, CO.
We also offer mentoring in the form of in-clinic intensives for advanced students who come to work with us in our clinical setting, and the Listening Hands Seminars- seminar format instruction for experience manual therapists for 12 or less students with locations and dates to be announced.

Appointments last an hour to an hour and 15 minutes depending on when we reach a good stopping point. The work is done fully clothed on a massage table. If possible wear clothing like you would wear to exercise, but we can work through heavier clothing if necessary. Both styles of healing work involve very light touch with minimal movement of my hands. It is safe for injuries and chronic issues.

Thomas Walker
Thomas Walker has been practicing manual therapy for over four decades, integrating new learning and fine-tuning his methods along the way. Tom spent many years as an advanced Rolfing clinician, but turned to Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy to achieve the results of Rolfing, but with a gentle touch. His blended approach leverages his functional training, but integrates the whole-body healing of Biodynamics– including balancing the nervous system. Thomas began passing his knowledge onto advanced manual therapy students through Listening Hands Seminars in 2018. A lifelong athlete, Tom loves working with world-class athletes to overcome injuries and achieve optimal agility.
Catherine Leitess
Catherine has studied & practiced eastern healing traditions – including yoga & meditation – since the late 1990s. After suffering the loss of her husband in 2017, Cat wanted to re-dedicate her life to helping people with PTSD and trauma. Her intuitive nature and healing spirit led her to become a mentee of Thomas Walker at Listening Hands in 2019. Cat has also studied under Margaret Rosenau at School of Inner Health in Denver, CO since 2020. Catherine is a social justice warrior, mental health advocate, and loves to watch the sun rise.
